Who We Are

TOYOTA AISIN PHILIPPINES INCORPORATED (TAP) was the first manual transmission manufacturing plant established outside Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan in Aug. 3, 1990. TAP is a joint venture of Aisin Corporation Japan, Toyota Motor Corporation–Japan and Toyota Motor Philippines Corporation.

Its products are composed of Manual Transmissions (5 and 6 –Speed Types) used for Innova, Hilux and Fortuner;  Front Axle for Vios and Rear Pinion Gears for Automatic Transmission.

Around 95% is exported to various Toyota vehicle plants and affiliate companies globally, while the remaining percentage is used for the local market through TMPC.
