traffic-safety

Toyota’s long term vision on Traffic Safety involves the dynamic interaction of the 3 E’s (Enforcement, Education and Engineering) to achieve a Healthy Traffic Environment.

TAP’s response to the Global Toyota Vision is the enhancement of activities in Education leading to the formation of the “Traffic Safety Academy” (TSA). Launched in 2007, TSA is not an academic institution but an overall term used for the project which aims to contribute to the development of the City of Santa Rosa in becoming a Traffic Discipline Community. Various activities were conducted such as Traffic Outpost Donations, poster and slogan making contest, Trainor’s training and orientation of the general public particularly the students, traffic enforcers, drivers and pedestrians in the city. The program lasted for 3 years.

Project partners include the City Government of Santa Rosa, City Traffic Management Enforcement and Office (CTMEO), Boy Scouts of the Philippines, Rotary Club of Santa Rosa and UP Diliman -National Center for Transportation Studies
